Our girls travelled to Kilkeel to participate in an indoor football tournament. Throughout the day the girls displayed great skill, determination and sportsmanship. Lots of terrific goals were scored and outstanding saves made. They progressed to the semi- finals where they played Kilkeel P.S. A team. This was a hard fought contest but unfortunately the girls didn’t reach the final. They can, however, come away with their heads held high as their performance made their school extremely proud.Special mention to our P.5 goal keeper Sophia who did an outstanding job in goals. Thank you to Kilkeel P.S. for organising a great tournament and promoting girls football.
