The boys and girls travelled to Kilkeel to compete in the second round of the Violet McBride Hockey Cup. We fielded two boys teams. Both teams performed brilliantly throughout the day scoring lots of goals and displaying great skill. The older boys emerged the overall winners of the tournament! Meanwhile the girls put on an excellent performance scoring lots of goals to reach the final. The final was hard fought and exciting. The girls should be very proud of their determination and sportsmanship. Unfortunately they were beaten 4-2 by Kilkeel P.S. Well done to everyone! You made your school extremely proud. Thank you so much to Kilkeel P.S. for organising and hosting a brilliant tournament.
