Today the boys and girls hockey teams travelled to Newry H.C. For the regional heats of the N.I. Pearson/McCoy cups. The boys played really well but unfortunately didn’t make it to the semi final. The girls won their group and proceeded to the semi finals. From there they qualified for the final game against Markethill PS. This was a hard fought contest with both teams displaying determination. The girls were narrowly beaten but came away with their heads held high. The school is immensely proud of both teams who played with great sportsmanship and skill!
