Continuing on with our topic on “People Who Help Us”, we were very lucky to have a visit today from Kilkeel Lifeboat Station.
We heard lots of useful and interesting information about what is involved working for the Lifeboat Station. We saw the clothes the workers need to wear and heard about some of the emergencies they respond to. We also saw a photo of the Kilkeel Lifeboat, this then inspired our art lesson.
We were delighted to receive beautiful colouring activities, stickers, flags and pencils.
